Privacy notice

This notice informs you under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the personal data processed when you visit this website, the legal basis for the processing and the rights available to you. The site is a purely informational website. We operate no user accounts, process no orders and use no tracking or analytics tools.

There is no statutory obligation to appoint a data protection officer under ยง 38 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Hosting via Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technically required connection data, in particular your IP address, the browser used, the requested URL, the timestamp and response codes. This data is required to deliver the page to your device and to defend against attacks such as denial of service.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and performant provision of the website. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. Because Cloudflare is a US company, personal data is transferred to a third country. The transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision regarding the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare is certified, and additionally on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 3. Server log files

On each request, the hosting provider automatically records the connection data listed under section 2 in so-called log files. This data is not combined with other data sources. Storage is performed by Cloudflare in accordance with its retention policy and serves solely the technical security and functioning of the site. We do not carry out any further analysis of this data.

4. Google Fonts

This website loads typefaces via the Google Fonts API from servers operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and where applicable Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When the fonts are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google. No cookies are set in this process.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a consistent typographic presentation. The transfer to the United States is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision regarding the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google is certified, and on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 5. Contact by e-mail

When you contact us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address and the contents of your message to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR and, where the inquiry relates to a possible contract, also Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We store your message for as long as is required to handle the matter and delete it afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage or session storage for recognition purposes. We perform no cross-device analysis of your usage behaviour.

7. Disclosure to third parties

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties, with the exception of the processing on our behalf by the hosting and font providers described in sections 2 and 4.

8. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is processed and, where so, access to that data (Article 15 GDPR), the right to rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and the right to object to processing based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Article 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Article 7 (3) GDPR).

An informal message to the e-mail address listed under section 1 is sufficient to exercise these rights.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. 10. Retention period

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this notice or as required by statutory retention obligations. Once the purpose ceases and no retention obligation remains, the data is deleted or anonymised.

11. Encryption

This website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Content and connection data are therefore protected against third-party interception on the transport path.

12. Changes to this notice

We adjust this privacy notice when the processing or the legal framework changes. The current version is always available from this page.
